ABOUT ZSUZSANNA
Process Safety and
nuclear safety have been
my passion for over 20 years.
Throughout my career, I have worked with organisations, regulators and international bodies to strengthen process safety, improve the management of major accident hazards and help organisations learn from incidents.
Experience across industry and regulation
My career has taken me across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States, working across high-hazard industries and regulatory environments.
This has given me extensive experience in process safety management systems, hazard identification, emergency planning, management of change, consequence analysis, risk assessment and safety reporting.
CAREER HIGHLIGHT
Invited to share my expertise on a global stage.
I was invited by National Geographic to contribute to its Disasters Engineered series, where I discussed the Fukushima Daiichi disaster. The programme explored the technical and human factors behind major global disasters. It was a unique opportunity to draw on my experience in process and nuclear safety and share that knowledge with a much wider audience.
Experience
Experience that continues to shape my work.
Today, I work with high-hazard organisations to strengthen process safety, build capability and support better decision-making.
Learning from major accidents remains a particular focus of my work. I believe there is enormous value in looking beyond what happened, to understand why it happened, what can be learned and how those lessons can be applied elsewhere.
